How to order a Mercury outboard online.
Find your engine, check out online or by phone, and we ship it direct to your door anywhere in Canada.
Order before 12:00 PM PST on a business day and it usually leaves the same day. As a Mercury-Authorized Dealer we sell the engines and Mercury Marine builds them, and because the focus is entirely on portables you get specialists who work the 2.5hp to 20hp range every day.

How do I place an order?

Find your engine
Every product page carries the specifications you need. Replacing an older engine? Start at Mercury repower. Otherwise run your setup through the Outboard Finder first, or call 1-807-206-0032. We’d rather answer your questions today than coordinate a return next week.

Check your cart
Confirm the shaft length and model number. Your subtotal, taxes and shipping all show before you continue, so there are no surprise fees at checkout.

Create an account, or don’t
You can check out as a guest. An account takes seconds and permanently saves your invoice, which you’ll want later for warranty registration, insurance or parts.

Review and pay
Give the order summary one last look. The moment you check out, our warehouse starts boxing your motor, which makes changes difficult after that point.

Your confirmation arrives within a few minutes. If nothing has arrived after half an hour, check your spam folder or email support@mercuryoutboards.ca.
Paying
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, MasterCard and American Express, processed securely in Canadian funds.
We charge your card when you order, which is what lets us reserve your motor and start the shipping process the same day.
Taxes
These depend on where we ship. The 5% federal GST applies to all Canadian orders, plus your provincial sales tax.
Tax exempt?
Send us your documentation before you order so we can set up your account correctly.
Free engine oil
Every gas outboard ships with a free 1L bottle of Mercury engine oil ($40 Value).
Timing
How long until it ships?
Order before 12:00 PM PST on a business day and it usually ships the same day. Orders after noon ship the next business day.

Backorders. If a motor sells out the moment you buy, we send an update within 24 hours with an expected shipping date. You can hold your place in line or take a full refund right away.

Changes
Can I cancel or change my order?
Yes, before it ships, at no charge. Full refund to your original payment method within 1 to 3 business days. Email or call 1-807-206-0032 as soon as you know.
Because outboards ship by specialised freight and our fulfilment team moves quickly, reach out early. Once your motor is on the truck we can’t cancel it, and once it’s been delivered a return is by approval only.
If it arrives damaged, don’t refuse it
You’re covered by the delivery-day steps on the Shipping and Delivery page. Refusing a shipment triggers return freight and doesn’t resolve anything faster. Full return terms are on the Returns Policy page.

About ordering
Can I order by phone instead?
Yes. Call 1-807-206-0032, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM PST. We’ll size the engine with you and place the order on the call.
Will I see the shipping cost before I pay?
Yes. Shipping is calculated at checkout from the engine’s weight, dimensions and your address, and shown before you confirm.
Do I have to create an account?
No, guest checkout is available. An account saves your invoice permanently, which is genuinely useful for warranty and parts later.
What if I order the wrong shaft length?
Call us before you order. After delivery a return is by approval only, so the sizing conversation matters. The Outboard Finder confirms shaft length in about a minute.
When does my warranty start?
Once your engine is registered with Mercury Marine. We email you a registration form after your order ships and file it once you reply. See the Warranty Policy page.
Still before noon?
Order today, and it leaves today.
