Why the Showroom Model Doesn't Work for Portables

The traditional showroom makes sense for a 600hp Verado build with custom rigging. It makes a lot less sense for a 5hp portable for your tender, or a 9.9hp kicker for your aluminum. You already know what you want. You just need it shipped.

Once spring hits, most physical dealers run 4 to 6 weeks behind, and half the season is gone by the time your engine is ready. Then the invoice arrives with extras: PDI charges, setup fees, fuel surcharges, product handling surcharges, NMMA advocacy fees. None of that shows up on an online order. You order, we ship, the engine lands at your door.
